The Athens Eurolymp Week 2002 will take place at Saronicos Gulf, Greece
on the same area where The Olympics of 2004 will be held.

VENUE
The Athens Eurolymp week will be held from 18 – 23 February 2002 and sailed on the waters of Saronikos Gulf, Greece, on the same area where the Olympics of 2004 will be held.

RULES
The Athens Eurolymp week will be governed by the Racing Rules for Sailing 2001-2004 (RRS).

This Notice of Race, the Class Rules, (except as any of these are changed by this Notice of Race, and the Sailing Instructions).

ADVERTISING CATEGORY
The Athens Eurolymp week shall rank as a Category C event in accordance with RRS Appendix 1,regulation 20

Yachts will be required to display a bow number and advertising of the event sponsor on each side on the forward 25% of the hull.

ENTRY FEES

SINGLE-HANDED BOATS 90 Euro

DOUBLE-HANDED BOATS 110 Euro
3 CREW-MEMBER BOATS 135 Euro

Entry fees will be paid upon arrival.

REGISTRATION

Competitors and team leaders shall register at each Regatta office which will be open as from MONDAY 18 FEBRUARY 2002, 09.00-18.00 hrs.

All competitors shall have completed registration no later than 10.00 hrs on TUESDAY 19 FEBRUARY 2002

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
The sailing instructions will be available for each competitor upon registration.

SAIL NUMBERS
Yachts shall use the approved nationality codes on their sails as required by the RRS.

ELIGIBILITY
The ISAF'S appendixes , Section II, Ap. 2 isaf eligibility Code as amendment June 2001

No first warning signal will be given later than 15.00 on Saturday, 23^rd February.

COURSE AREAS
There will be three - four course areas.

SCORING SYSTEM
The low point scoring system will be used A4 appendix A.

INTERNATIONAL JURY
There will be no appeal from the decisions of the International Jury.
Direct judging and umpiring may be used.

LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
Competitors will participate in the Athens Eurolymp week entirely on their own risk.
The Organizing Authority will not accept any liability for personal or material damage, injury or death, sustained in conjunction with, prior to, during or after the Athens Eurolymp week.
The Organizing Authority disclaims any and all such liability.

For each competing yacht at least a valid third party liability insurance not less than $ 500.000 shall be in existence for the entire duration of the Athens Eurolymp week .
It shall be sole responsibility of the competitor to have such insurance cover and provide written proof there of to the Organizing Authority upon request.

PRIZE GIVING AND TROPHIES
Prizes will be award to the crews finishing first, second and third place at the regatta and souvenir prizes for every competitor .

ACCOMODATION
Competitors are requested to send the accommodation form directly to the hotels.
